This website is an ongoing discussion about war, peace, memory and reconciliation. I propose that Remembrance Day, Armistice Day and Memorial Day, when ceremonies are held for the war dead, be changed to The Day of Forgetting. The simplest solution to end strife is for people to forget. I may be accused of not respecting those who have sacrificed their lives or died without choice. However I believe the best way to honour the dead and give them dignity is to forget our anger, division and differences.
